Shailee Bruck is a communications professional with a passion for leveraging creative storytelling to advance public service and global development initiatives.

Shailee is pursuing a Master’s in International Development at IE University in Madrid, where she is deepening her understanding of global challenges and policy solutions. A commitment to social justice drives her, and she is eager to combine her expertise in communications with economic development to drive positive change.

She also served as Digital Manager for the Maryland Democratic Party, overseeing social media, email communications, website content, and podcast production.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and History from the University of Maryland, where she focused on 19th-century African American history, cheered for the University of Maryland Cheerleading Team for four years, and interned with the Maryland Athletics Media Relations department.
