Shailee Bruck is an international development and strategic communications professional with experience in stakeholder engagement and policy research. She specializes in translating complex policy and economic issues into accessible language and actionable insights to support mission-driven initiatives.​
 

Shailee recently graduated with her Master's in International Development from IE University in Madrid, developed in partnership with the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC). She specialized in Finance, Trade & Business for Sustainability and Development Innovation & Emerging Technologies, with additional coursework and training in results-based management, policy analysis, data analytics, and risk evaluation. As part of her graduate capstone, she partnered with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), conducting market analysis and value chain assessments to develop recommendations supporting sacha inchi as an alternative development initiative in Putumayo, Colombia.
 

Prior to her Master's, Shailee served as Senior Creative Manager for the Office of the Comptroller of Maryland, where she led digital strategy and stakeholder engagement. She designed ADA accessible research reports and data-driven communications that helped modernize the agency's outreach, increasing social media followers by 800% and engagement by 400%.
 

Previously, Shailee worked at SOS International, LLC, supporting private sector government defense contractor communications, and served as Assistant Press Secretary/Digital for U.S. Senator Ben Cardin, where she drafted speeches, press releases, and digital communications covering foreign policy, international development, labor, trade, and human rights. Earlier in her career, she was Digital Manager for the Maryland Democratic Party, leading digital strategy, email communications, website content, and multimedia production.
 

Shailee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and History from the University of Maryland, where she focused on nineteenth-century African American history and rhetoric, competed as a member of the University's Division I cheerleading team, and interned with Maryland Athletics Media Relations Department.
 

She is passionate about economic development and international cooperation through research, strategic communications, and collaboration.
